Jillian Noel Shennessy was born on 25th November 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer who has been recognized for her significant contribution in American television. She was a star in American television series Law & Order, where she portrayed prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy showed her talent in films that were independent, such as Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy launched her career as an actor in Dead Ringers with her sister. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she played Dr. Marie Lazarus. Her breakthrough came later in the year in the form of a role as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order.
